Eklavya, The Royal Guard

It was such a coincidence when my godparents took me back to curve on Sunday (25th feb) to watch this hindi movie Eklavya. The movie was playing at cineleisure and in my opinion the cineleisure cinema is the best cinema i have ever been to *loved it*..eventhough the ticket price was Rm11, the whole experience and comfort you get is worth every cent..It was certainly quite and experience ( thankz to my godparents)

I have never heard of this movie until my godparents told me about it. I was quite hesitant about going for this particular movie at first. If it was not for my trust in my godparents movie taste and me being an adventurous person (open mind) *smiles*, i wouldnt have gone for the movie. The 3rd reason was well i just didnt wanna stay at home and be bored..lol..After watchin Eklavya, i totally dont regret my decison and i dont mind watching it again..'

I am going to be very honest with you...some might not enjoy this movie as it is kinda slow and draggy at parts. It is also quite predictable at certain scenes. However the advantages certainly outweighs the disadvantages.

The good things about the movie were:

1. The different plot and story line ( it is uncomparable to any hindi movie).

2. Superb acting by cast (applause to amitabh bachan).Saif is such a HOTTIE, jimmy shergil also *blush*

3. Only 1 song in the entire movie (you read it right)..*hehe*

4. the movie was 2 hours. ( im serious)..eventhough it was slow, it was straight to the point.

*thinks* i cant seem to find the right words to explain this movie, so people just CHECK *stresses* out this website to watch the trailer and all (its not a waste of time),.

I can sum this movie up in just one word.. "beautiful"..it is truly a beautiful move...(jay you will enjoy it just as i did).If you still dont trust me...*sigh*..here are some review's.Hopefully you will change your mind.

This movie deserves more than 5 STARS. A TRULY MAGNIFICIENT MASTERPIECE DIRECTED WITH FLAWLESS DIRECTION BY VIDHU VINOD.- Bhupinder Singh

Curve Nite Out

A well planned outing + A few glitches = A perfect night out at Curve

Living in klang, and as a girl who hardly (or rarely) venture out of klg town, going to the Curve was sure a huge and exciting step. The people that took this step with me were sanjay (driver 1), prakash (driver 2), ashley (FOC guy), dalini (buddy), stephie (suprisingly..hehe) and Sash (sexy chic)..The basic idea was just chilling and spending some quality time with each other... some might think it sounds boring. On the contrary, it was far from boredom-ville.

At the Curve:

1st stop: Italiannies

We all met up and decided to have dinner at Italiannies (italian cuisine of course). We had 2 veggie lovers, Jay and ashley (not veggie lover, it was a lent thing). So we had veggie pizza, chicken somethin pizza and some pasta stuff. Being the cheap-skate ppl we ordered 3 bottom-less drinks and was shared among 7 of us *laughs*.Sadly after dinner, sash had to go home *sobs*.

2nd stop : The Fountain

This particular fountain was discovered by jay and ashley, somewhere behind TGIF. The fascinating thing is it uses optical illusion. so if you look at the water flowing out of the the fountain,....it looks like its moving upwards instead of downwards. Its got something to do with the light frequency *blur face*..(ask ashley or jay 4 further explanation).

3rd stop : Baskin N Robbins

4th stop : Laundry bar

Prax met up with us at laundry bar (outside) after sending sash back.Sadly he wasnt able to meet us at baskin due to some unforseen events involving traffic diversion and stairways *heheh*. We tried sitting inside laundry but lets just say it was too loud and we klg ppl like to talk..so the best place was outside. So we ordered our drinks while waiting for jay to rescue prax from the stairway of doom..lol...

We girls decided to have a drink for the fun of it..and i mean A (one) drink only kay..*smiles*. so as u can see little dal's drink was like big (bigger than her)..*laughs*. My martini which was lychee flavour sucked *yuck* (nvr drinking a martini) and well stephie liked her bailey's (good 4 u dear).

One of the few diversions we took besides walking into Nafnaf and me going GaGa over a top (nafnaf) which was Expensive was going into this club and watchin Alley Cats perform..*no cover charge*..hence the walking in..lol. We were only in there for like 5 mins or less....

Short Talk

hey i know im kinda late back in my post. Lately havent really had the time to actually sit down and blog, upload pics..and etc etc...my future post wont be in order as it should be..but i promise you by wednesday, at least 3 new post will be up aight...

MON-day outing

So its been quite sometime since my friends and i have actually hung out together and spend some quality time. Well these are my college buddies,and since its chinese new year and all, everyone is on a week break...so what better time to spend money..hehee.and chill out!!!. Raey, jeevan (raey's bro), Mua, priya (my sis), prax, dev (prax bro), Ashley (deary coll fren), dalini, stephie and Jivan (busy guy), went to jusco (bukit raja) to watch the eddie murphy movie called NORBIT. Its a comedy movie and its hillarious (after all eddie is acting in it). Hence if you ppl need to just loosen up and all.well head on down to your nearest cinema and watch it k.

The movie was at 12.20, jeevan (raey's bro) took us (raey,pri,stephie and me) to jusco. This is actually the 1st time we went for an outing with raey bro and ashley dear( he was annoying me). Everyone met up there, and well prax wanted to eat. so before the movie we went to mac'ds.......

Well most of us didnt eat cause well 11.30 was kinda too early to have lunch. Thus after the movie, Nando's was our next destination to fill our tummy.....As always, after a certain movie everyone at the table tends to talk about it.. *hehe* cant help but state my opinion of the movie now (that's da purpose of a blog rite)... I thought the movie was interesting cause:

1. eddie murphy does a triple role..and he pulls it off really well
2. Its really funny with the way they talk and all..ahaha...prax does a really good imitation of rasputia (eddie's wife)
3. The malaysian goverment actually didnt censor the speech and all.*suprised*

Since it's a public holiday, well the cinema was crowded (not suprising) but since we booked early and all. we didnt get stuck in a big queue and got pretty good seats. However one thing i have to disagree with was the U rating for the movie... technically Norbit is not a U-rated movie. with the foul languages and all, i dont think its suitable for kids.It should be 18. There were babies and young kids at the cinema... totally not appropriate (and im not sounding like a grandma)...*heheh* . I think they gotta come up with regulations to not allow kids below 10 for movies. There was this couple sitting in the row behind us and well the baby kept crying everytime eddie said the word "bitch",*thinks*..(that might have provoked the kid)..and that's not the worst part. this little girl sitting behind me, kept kicking my chair *arrgh*. I was so tempted to turn behind and ask her to sit down quitely well patience got the better of me *sighs*..I know some parents find it hard to get babysitters and all..but they have to consider other people's feeling also. Imagine watching a movie with kids crying throughout the whole movie....kinda defeats the purpose of going to the theather to relax rite???...

Whatever it is, i had an awe-some time...and due to the fact that the company was great too, the whole outing made my day. Its nice to take a step back at time and just have fun with friends. Everyone is moving on with life and well moments like this, dont come by easily....So before i head out ive got one last thing to say

My look alikes

so i tried out this celebrity look alike thankz to prax..ahah and to my suprise the result turned out to be GREAT...*whoppie* . I mean why wouldnt it be great, having look-alikes such as kajol( coincidence she's one of my fav bollywood actress), elizabeth hurley (damn hot wei..ahaha) eventhough its onlt 70%, its still all good *smiles*, ashley olsen *hmm* (she looks better last time, she has bad fashion sense though).,audrey tautou (da vincci code lady) and alizee (wondering who she is????), oops i nearly forgot Jeri ryan whose really pretty but doesnt ring any bells.......The weird thing is the guy look alike..BUTTTTT.. i actually have hayden (major HOTTIE!!)...*dances around* ...and conor oberst (looks awfully familiar though)....
In conclusion..i love my look alikes..eheheh...

Short Talk

kay, i have totally disappeared from blogville for quite some time already..and i have my reasons :
1. i been internet-less thanks to silly streamyx ppl (3 1/2 weeks)..*sobs* ..
2.been going through some rough time (emo-ness attacks)
3. I guess i was just too lazy..(2% lazyness attacks)
