L.O.V.E

Scenario 1:

(a boy and a girl walking along the beach under the bright moonlight on a cold winter's night)

Boy: we have known each other for quite sometime now, and well i would like to take this relationship to the next level
Girl: *takes a deep breath*
Boy: i am willing to give you anything and i promise to make you happy..
Girl: (still in silence)
Boy: I love you with all my heart...would you be my GF
Girl: yes, i love you to.

-the end-

I am sure, almost each and every one of us have come across or been in this situation...(ok maybe not under the moonlight and stuff)..im talking about being in love. Or do we think that we are in love but it might be a different feeling altogether. What is Love??? yeah im sure we could look up the dictionary and find its definition, but i personally feel. each indivual has their own definition to the word LOVE...In my opinion, its a sign of feeling incomparable to any other, where you put your partner ahead of you and your willing to sacrifice yourself for your partner.....however i strongly believe that the word LOVE is very much overated these days......

Having watched movies such as Titanic, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai..we all wish to be in that situation.( not the sinking ship of course..that's a big NO!).... We dream to have someone to love so much and loves us back equally or more...it would be a plus if it was like hrithik roshan, or orlando bloom *dreams*..(coming back to reality)..we just have to make do with what we have. We must not fail to realise that life is not like in the movies. It is more real than ever before and also when it affects us, the feeling is so much more realistic.

I wouldnt deny that i have said the word LOVE well countless amount of time, but howelse would i explain the feeling i have. Is love and true love the same thing??..how would u differenciate it??..Given a situation where a guy has had 3 or 4 gf, does that mean he has been in love 3-4 times???..Lets say person A was in a 3 month relationship, can person A justify that he/she was actually in love??...Most of us including me have actually misunderstood the meaning of LOVE..till today im still figuring it out. I guess i just longed for someone who would treat me special, make me happy..etc.etc.etc..(dont all of us want that)...i believe the true meaning of love is much deeper than that..i would like to salute all those people i know who have been in a relationship for 2 years or more, its a great thing to having gone through so much and still being able to maintain your bond..i guess these ppl must truly be in love......

Falling for someone can bring so much happiness and joy to not only yourself but to others, it makes you feel a whole lot different. There are times when the relationship will not work out, during this period of time things will get rough and the aftermath of it will leave one party heartbroken. Some might even lose faith in love but always remember that you have to go through a few rotten apples to finally taste a sweet one. And at that point of time, you will cherish every single bite of that sweet apple.

So for those single people in search of love or giving up on it..just take note that there is someone out there for each and everyone of us. Some might have already found their ONE and some might not,.just dont lose faith and look at the bright side of things. Falling in love does not happen overnight but when it does happen, it makes every single tear shed, every heartbroken moments, every scar worthwhile....

Love is like age, it matures as we get older....
